Carpet Studs are an alternative to using metal strips (known as single naplocks) or turning the carpet and tacking.
Each stud features a serated pin to ensure a very strong grip in wood.
Carpet Studs are a nice detail when used on half landings to continue the runner effect.

Carpet Studs can be used to solve the problem of visible underlay, as the carpet can be tacked to the riser, concealing the underlay.
Carpet Studs make a feature of newell posts and landings, especially when used in conjunction with Easybind (see EasyBind section).
